Urban farmers in Thousand Islands will participate in Simultaneous Planting Activity Throughout Jakarta 2021 that will be held on Friday (6/4) at 8 AM.

Tomorrow, we will plant together with urban farmers in five municipalities to areas outside Jakarta

Thousand Islands Maritime, Agriculture, and Food Security Sub-agency Head, Devi Lidya conveyed, as of today at 2 PM, 27 people had registered to participate in this event which held to commemorate World Environment Day 2021.

"Based on temporary data, the cumulative total land area used by 27 Thousand Islands residents for urban farming reaches 774 square meters," she informed, Thursday (6/3).

Let's Collaborate and Participate in Simultaneous Planting in Jakarta Tomorrow

Theme raised for this event is "Urban Farming for Food Security" which refers to Ingub No. 14/2018 about Urban Farming Implementation.

"Tomorrow, we will plant together with urban farmers in five municipalities to areas outside Jakarta. Hopefully it will increase our motivation and enthusiasm," she mentioned.
